Why We Chose Alexandria Bay
Like many of our neighbours, we have travelled all over the world, but, after discovering the incomparable Thousand islands, and vacationing in the area for many years, we chose this unique spectacular island as our little piece of paradise.
A visitor said it best; she described the area as "serene, exciting, peaceful, glorious, breathtaking", and said, "Boating on this river gives you the ultimate sense of freedom - there is no end in sight, no limitations!"
Our island is, at once, romantic, secluded, and private (with breathtaking views!), offering everything you could want, right on the island, but close enough to access all the worldly sights and activities, restaurants, sports facilities, etc., only a few minutes away.
We have front-row seats, right on our own front deck or dock, to see ocean-going ships, or the fireworks off Boldt Castle, or the pirate invasion during Pirate's Days, or high-powered speedboats during the Poker Run.

The home theater offers an unbelievable assortment of channels (including recent movies), and the surround-sound makes you feel as if you're right there! Cozy sofas and cushy chairs have been professionally positioned for your comfort and viewing pleasure.
